Eligibility Requirements
- Individuals performing official duties for foreign governments or international organizations
- Administrative and technical staff and service personnel of foreign government diplomatic missions approved by the Korean government
- Administrative and technical staff and service personnel of consular offices approved by the Korean government
- Staff of international organizations headquartered in Korea
- Staff dispatched by foreign governments or international organizations stationed at branches in Korea for official business with the Korean government
- Individuals dispatched by foreign governments or international organizations for official business with the Korean government
- Participants in conferences, etc., hosted by the Korean government or international organizations
- Families of the above individuals
- Family members belonging to the same household as the above individuals
Required Documents
- Visa application form, passport, 1 standard photo, fee
- Documents certifying dispatch or employment, or an official note (note verbale) issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the relevant country
For activities outside visa status
Passport, integrated application form
Fee (non-status activities 120,000 won): Accompanying families of U.S. embassy staff are exempt from fees under reciprocity
Employment recommendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Diplomatic Mission Officer) (required)
Documents required for non-status activities by visa category (qualification requirements, etc.)
