Eligibility Requirements
  • Cases where activities are permitted by Korean law for individuals holding foreign nationally-recognized qualification certificates recognized by Korean law

    Aircraft pilots with recommendation from Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

    Doctors possessing latest medicine and advanced medical techniques with employment recommendation from Minister of Health and Welfare to work at the following medical institutions: National or local government medical institutions, medical corporations, non-profit corporations, medical institutions established by government-invested institutions

  • Individuals training intern/resident courses at university-affiliated hospitals or hospitals designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare after graduating from domestic medical (dental) colleges
  • Individuals with approval for inter-Korean cooperation projects under the Act on Inter-Korean Exchanges and Cooperation

    Essential professional personnel necessary for operating tourist ships such as for Mt. Geumgang tourism development projects

  • Individuals intending to work as captain or other essential professional personnel for ship operation employed by domestic transport companies

  • Visa application form, passport, 1 standard photo, fee
  • Invitation letter
  • Degree and qualification certificate (license) copy
  • Employment recommendation from head of competent central administrative agency

    For employment activities in free economic zones: Employment recommendation from special city mayor, metropolitan city mayor, or provincial governor having jurisdiction, or documents proving employment necessity
