Interactive Media Mix (IMX, Inc.) (https://www.imx-mnc.com/), a Japanese corporation with operations in Korea, was established in 2001 and specializes in producing and distributing Korean entertainment content. As the first company to distribute Korean dramas and entertainment to major media outlets in Japan, IMX, Inc. has expanded into a variety of entertainment ventures, including actor/artist management, event planning/production, and webtoon production and distribution.
In 2020, we successfully launched "Channel K" on Amazon Prime Video in Japan, a subscription-based channel offering unlimited access to both new titles and timeless masterpieces. Most recently, "Music K" was also launched as the first and only K-POP channel on Amazon Prime Video Japan. We then expanded globally by launching Channel K on Amazon Prime Video in India. Building on this, we are actively working on introducing Channel K to additional countries, allowing even more viewers to enjoy our content.
We are currently looking to hire 1 full-time team member and 1 intern to join our Digital Asset Management and Delivery Team — a key part of our fast-paced, growing entertainment company. Whether you're an experienced professional or an enthusiastic newcomer, this is your chance to dive into the exciting world of content distribution, creation, and acquisition at a start-up that values creativity and collaboration.
As part of the Digital Asset Management and Delivery Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our content meets technical and quality standards before it goes live on Amazon Prime Video.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage accurate metadata for dramas and films.
- Watch programs before they go live to assign appropriate ratings and warnings for explicit content.
- Watch programs with English subtitles and check for errors or technical issues.
- Communicate with distribution companies to confirm specifications.
- Prepare and deliver files to Amazon on schedule.
- Keep organized records of all assets and metadata.
- Assist with content acquisition by researching, identifying, and evaluating potential titles for distribution, and communicating with external content partners.우대사항
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Communications, Media/Film, Digital Media, IT, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English and conversational Korean.
- A strong interest in Korean entertainment (K-dramas, movies, music, etc.).
- Legal eligibility to work in Korea.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in content-related roles or internships is a plus.
- Familiarity with writing and editing XML files for data management is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages, video encoding, and decoding is a plus.
- Technically proficient with solid general computer skills, including basic troubleshooting.
