What You’ll Do - Partner with the marketing team in Asia (KR and SEA) to create and implement our media strategies focusing on audience first, innovative media plans and partnerships - Lead day to day communication with agency partners and external media vendors to ensure Spotify objectives are clearly communicated - Review all buy from media agency and media partners ensuring they are consistent with media strategy, in line with budget, flighted properly and executable based on projection schedules - Establish planning parameters, standard processes, and guidelines for Korea, as well as SEA initiatives - Remain abreast of new and emerging platforms and the opportunities they represent, as well as changes in existing platforms that impact media performance - Assess and propose enhancements based on campaign performance to optimize, measure success, and provide information for future plans, as well as implementation of appropriately influenced learnings into the future campaigns - In partnership with the APAC Media Lead, support implementation and execution of regional and/or global media deals, JBP, and partnerships - Use the knowledge of the overall media landscape combined with our positioning in each market to support local markets to deliver best in class, locally nuanced media campaigns - Be responsible for identifying, managing and driving multi-market tailored solutions and partnerships - Partner with local Marketing teams & Media agency to deliver strategic solutions as well as tactical media plans

Who You Are - 7+ years working in Strategic Media Planning role at a media agency or on the brand side with proven track record for developing media plans for leading global brands in Korea and SEA - International experience, understanding of cultural drivers, previous experience working across global brands - Extensive knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media planning principles with an expert knowledge of local media landscape including traditional and digital media - Experience in negotiating and managing media partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements - A solutions mindset that creates creative opportunities in media to increase visibility/impact with target audiences - Experience in managing relationships with multiple internal & external partners - Demonstrated ability for delivering strategic solutions and media plans - Capable of working with multiple, often competing, stakeholders across departments - Experience with complex campaign management, high-stake projects and partners with equal priority and speed for flawless execution - A passion for leveraging data to gain new insights and innovative attitude - Constantly stay abreast of global trends, emerging technologies, social media developments and first to market innovation for growth - Passion for marketing, music, podcasts, all things Spotify
