We offer We offer a competitive position as Consular Assistant in an international environment. The recruited person will be mainly working as front office operative but will be attributed additional tasks following the needs of the Embassy. Task include, among others: - Welcoming and receiving the frontline questions, requests and documents of Belgian or foreign citizens - Preparing, encoding and monitoring the evolution of different types of applications (such as visas, id-cards, passports, legalizations, etc.) according to the procedures and regulations in force - Informing and answering requests by e-mail, telephone; if necessary, forwarding them to a manager - Carrying out secretarial tasks in order to support the manager/post in daily administrative management - Questioning/guiding/advising/helping applicants with the existing procedures - Registering files in the software indicated and according to the rules in force - Informing the applicant of the outcome of his application - Issuing certificates or other documents required by the applicant - Drafting letters/verbal notes/various communications under the manager's supervision - Updating various databases, including the crisis database, website with new instructions, etc. - Organizing meetings and prepare the minutes of internal meetings

Selection Criteria Minimum Requirements: - Medically fit to perform the required duties; - Enjoys civil rights and permits for employment under local law; - Language skills: proficient in Korean and English; good knowledge of French and/or Dutch; - Education: minimum upper secondary education; - Computer literacy: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. The following will be considered an asset: - University degree in human resources, accounting, finance or business administration - Working experience in a diplomatic mission, especially related to consular work. - Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to easily switch between tasks and prioritize their work. They should be able to work in a team and be service-oriented to both internal and external users.
