TOEFL or IELTS?

Hi! I’ve been considering taking either the TOEFL or IELTS in Seoul, but I’m having a tough time deciding. I know the formats are different, but I’m really curious—when it comes to job applications or other opportunities in Korea, which one do employers usually prefer? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s taken these exams in Seoul! TYSM!

It seems like TOEFL is more common in Korea.

Definitely TOEFL. However, if you are from an English-speaking country, many employers will not require it.
