How do you guys finance your accommodation? Just graduated from college and I’m thinking about moving to a bigger house. Been looking at Naver Property and it seems like it is impossible to live in an apartment. Minimum deposit is $500K ish…. I’m dying to get out of gosiwon styled officetel. So small and just don’t like it.

Coming from the US, I fully understand where you are coming from. There are a few apartments with $40K (deposit) / $150 (monthly fee) around Keumho (orange line) area. Just hire one property agent and ask him/her your budget. They will handle the rest

I live in Yongsan and there are a few good options around here. I pay $20K / $180. We have community (fitness center) and the best part of it is, line 4 is underneath the apartment, so it’s suuuuuuper convenient.
