Anyone in Architecture/Interior field

2024.09.26 23:33Is there anyone here working in the architecture or interior design field in a Korean or Global company, or something related?
For some reference, after finishing my master's in Korea, I couldn't find a job in this field and had to shift towards web design (somehow it worked with immigratiion office) in a "related" area, but I've been stuck without a job for a year now, and it’s getting quite depressing how useless this degree feels.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Sorry to hear that you’re stuck.
Apparently architecture is one of the majors to avoid doing in this country due to complexity of finding a job.
I studied architecture engineering too, but I don’t want to work on the technical aspect of architecture.
I am currently on a marketing position.
I suggest you look into marketing or business management related positions. There’s hope in such areas.

1년 전I have a Korean friend whose brother studied architecture. Now he is looking for a job in engineering instead. 😥 By the way, what are your questions about? Maybe I can ask him about other people who got jobs in the architecture.

1년 전Honestly, I'm gathering information on what foreigners with an architecture degree are doing in Korea.
I realized big architecture isn’t for me—I’d prefer working in faster field like retail/exhibitions/pop-up space companies, but I've had no luck so far
