For anyone who was confused like me

I have seen the terms for language proficiency used on different job applications in Korean: 상, 중, 하. I was confused for a while about what exactly they meant. I only knew that 상 is supposed to be the highest out of two. What they actually mean: 상 - On a native level 중 - Business conversational 하 - Conversational (able to have daily conversations)
