Super easy part time gigs

What are the easiest part time jobs you could do in Korea? Here's the list! 1. Interpretation If you get a good client, this job is great—enjoy delicious meals, sit and talk, and earn good money. It was fun! But the downside is that, since you're just relaying someone else’s words, you might feel a bit dismissed at times. 😔 Sometimes, you’ll end up following the client to smoking areas even if you’re a non-smoker, or you’ll be given materials super late and have barely any time to prepare. It’s also frustrating when the client themselves doesn’t have a clear idea of what they want to say. 😂 Still, among part-time gigs, it’s one of the best! If it’s a conference held in a hotel, the perks include fancy coffee and a buffet. 😆 2. Tutoring I taught foreign languages but only took on adult students—no test-prep students because they’re so stressed out. Mostly, I taught expats or their spouses! They were all much older than me and treated me kindly, almost like a niece, which was sweet. I also had the chance to teach at companies, which was a great experience to have at such a young age. 3. Duty-Free Shop Sales Since I’m really into beauty, I sold cosmetics, and it was so much fun! I spoke the best foreign languages in the store, so I ended up leading most of the sales. Because of that, all the incentives came my way, which was awesome! 😂 I started this job after graduating high school. My family wasn’t in a financially stable situation, so I couldn’t rely on allowances before entering college. Thanks to this job, I could have fun without worrying about money, buy gifts for my parents, get a laptop, and even go to a dermatologist. I spent that money so well! 4. Short-Term Manager at a Plastic Surgery Clinic Since I love beauty, I naturally applied for this job, and it turned out to be a perfect match for my interests. I worked with passion! As part of the job, I was fully made up every day, wore heels, and dressed in office attire. I enjoyed looking polished and professional—it made going to work fun! Honestly, if society’s perception of this field were better, I’d even consider making it my main career. 😂 I worked at a Korean clinic while studying abroad and briefly in Korea after returning. I think it would be fun to do this job overseas, too! We got staff discounts for treatments, and my coworkers and I always talked about procedures—it was so entertaining! 😂 5. Nail Model (Bonus) While at a nail salon, I was offered a gig as a nail model. I even modeled for promotional photos and participated in beauty expos (not in Korea) as a model for competitions. It was such a unique experience and a lot of fun! The best part? They paid me for my time, and I got my nails done for free—two birds with one stone! 😂 The downside, though, was not being able to choose my designs and my nails getting damaged easily.
