🧅 Yanpa is back... My New Job!

Hey everyone! 👋 It’s been a while, but I’m back with some updates! Remember those interviews I mentioned in my last post? Well… I nailed all three of them! 🎯 Not sure if it’s me stepping up my game or if something’s just really “KLiK-ed” with my approach. 🤌 The Perfect Commute For the first time, I’ve landed a job that’s only 20 minutes away from home. No more long commutes or rushing out the door in the mornings (I still do 🤷 )—I can finally enjoy some extra sleep! It’s a small thing, but it’s made such a big difference in starting my day off right and going back home. 🏢 About the Company The company is small, incredibly busy, and focuses on design work, though my role has plenty of variety. The team has been welcoming from day one, which is always a good vibe—but as I’ve learned from past experience, that usually means the work is demanding... not again I just wanna chill 9 to 5 😭 ⚙️ The Work Environment The pace here is next level—even for someone with experience. The boss? Let’s just say they have strong opinions, which has definitely kept me on my toes. The first two weeks were full of late nights, trying to up my game and match their expectations. I believe that I already "outperformed" previous design works in soem aspects but honestly, does not fill like boss will ever be satisfied with end result... Maybe its their way to keep employees focused, kinda toxic tho. The good news? After two tough weeks, I think I’ve finally got used to the pace,people,work etc.. No more staying late just to prove myself. I’m learning so much on the go and starting to feel like this might be a great place to sharpen my skills (before moving on to even bigger opportunities) Hope everyone doing great with their Job search! I've been away for three weeks but Lounge feels kinda empty...Wish more people would share their experience! 🥲
