Phone Number Requirement?

2025.01.18 01:32I am trying to apply for a job, but it seems i cannot apply without a Korean phone number. I did my graduate program in Korea just last year 2024. But i do not currently use the sim considering i have returned back to my country. Is there a possibility to apply for a job without a Korean phone number?

9개월 전Ahh yeah, that can be super frustrating 😩 Maybe try contacting HR directly and letting them know you’re abroad for now or if your Kakao Talk is stil working you can mention that too—they might still consider your application. Good luck! Hope it works out soon!

9개월 전You may need to look in Facebook community or any kakaotalk group chat. If you want to apply for the job in either AlbaMon or JobKorea or even other job advertising website, it will require you to verify yourself where phone number is needed unfortunately. :(

6개월 전Yes, I also find this very frustration. I would suggest contacting a company like Woori Mobile who are able to arrange short term sim cards where you will get a Korean number. The process was easy and the prices were good!
