Where can I report the people I work with at my part-time job? I’m an international student working in a bar at Hongdae as part-time job while completing my school. Last Friday, one of the people I work with came up to me and start yelling at me in front of all of our customers, for something that I didn’t do. I responded back in a very calm and respectful manner but she couldn’t stop herself. After she done yelling at me she went back to the counter and start talking about me with other workers. She’s not even my boss, the manager of the bar or someone that I take order from. She is a Korean who worked at that bar for more than 7 years and she’s 3 years older than me. What should I do?

First of all, it’s sad that you went through that. You must have been very shocked. The fact that your colleague yelled at you in front of the customers, shows how she lacks of work ethic and professionalism. Same thing for the manager of that place, letting another co-worker yell at you.

When it comes your question, it’s better to talk about this with your boss/manager, explain what happened and how you feel. If have any proof (video tape, voice recordings, witness etc.) it will be better. If you think you’re uncomfortable working there or you think you’re not being treated well by your co-workers, then I suggest you find somewhere where people can appreciate your value. If things get more serious you can call the police (119), or immigration service (1345) for assistance.

there must have been some reason. what did you do? I got yelled at my workplace too but it was in a private meeting room. Not in front of others

Report to the police or 1345. What did you even do to get yelled at in front of customers? And it was during packed hours smh🤦‍♂️

You should also tell your boss and tell them to make the crazy woman apologize.
