✨ Intern with D10 - Immigration Report

I'm currently working under an E-7 visa, and we just had a new foreign coworker join our company. She's currently working as an intern, so I can share how to report an internship to the immigration office for D-10 visa holders. Apparently, there's nothing complicated about starting an internship with a D-10 visa. You can begin the internship right away and just report it to the immigration office within 15 days. It’s really simple, you just need to send the report by FAX and call the immigration office to confirm receipt. However, there are some limitations. Internships under a D-10 visa are limited to a maximum of 6 months at the same company. And here’s a list of the required documents for the report: - 외국인등록사항변경 신고서 – Application form for changes in alien registration - 인턴 계약서 – Internship contract - 사업자 등록증 (사본) – Copy of business registration certificate - 고용보험가입자 명부 – List of employees enrolled in employment insurance - 외국인등록증 앞뒤 – Front and back of your Alien Registration Card (ARC) - 여권 (사본) – Copy of your passport So next time you get recruited as an intern, just show this to your HR team and ask for their help.
