Hello, I’m Otabek. I’m originally from Uzbekistan and have been living in Korea for nearly 7 years. I first came here as a student, completed my undergraduate degree at SolBridge, and spent two years on a D-10 visa actively searching for job opportunities. Now, I’m pursuing my master’s degree—but I’m still on the lookout for that one chance to join a company officially. Despite gaining experience through various unofficial jobs, I’ve never had the opportunity to work with a recognized organization, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find stability. If you’re reading this and open to connecting, mentoring, or even just having a conversation—I’d truly appreciate it. I’m eager to prove myself and contribute wherever I can. Lets talk.

Same condition here. I came to Korea in 2018. I did my undergraduate in Engineering but after graduation there were no jobs opportunities, after D-10 I joined my masters and recently graduated. I applied to more than 70+ jobs but still no luck or whatever. I also have TOPIK 4. I am in the same boat as you :( . All the jobs I see are marketing or targeted to SEA nation students or GKS students. I know I don't have good profile to apply to big companies ,being average in Korea is very challenging.

Wow, you came to Korea about the same year as me. I know that Master's degree may be a difficult time but try to check out your university website. I'm not sure about your university but mine has a career community for you to update job opportunity. Also, I recommend searching for international job fair as well.

Sounds like you have a wide variety of experience. I guess it really depends on what you want to do. Example: Working for a company, it would be goof to learn a high level of Korean and have qualifications in that sector. Maybe look at smaller cities outside of Seoul such as Pohang or Ulsan where there are lots of industrial sites. Jobs for Koreans are competitive, so don't feel disheartened
