2025.06.10 13:56Lately, I’ve been feeling lost at work, unsure of where I’m headed. I applied to a company recently and got rejected—and now I understand why. I created my resume the way it’s done in my home country: long, filled with all my experience and formal language. But I forgot I’m in Korea, where things are done differently.
After that rejection, I randomly saw the Klik Online Career Fair pop up on my Instagram feed. It felt like a sign. Honestly, I hesitated because I was afraid of being judged, but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. Chloe, the career expert, was incredibly helpful. She listened to my situation, asked about my goals, and gave me practical advice tailored to my needs. I left the session feeling encouraged and much more confident.
I realized that in Korea, resumes focus more on clearly showcasing your strengths rather than just listing everything you’ve done. I learned a lot—and I think other foreigners here should definitely take advantage of free opportunities like this. They can really make a difference.

6개월 전I was also very impressed with how different the Korean resume can look compared to my home country. It is great to have people help you adapt it to the Korean standards!
