Where to donate used clothes?

Summer is here, and that means it’s time for a wardrobe switch! I’ve packed away my winter clothes and brought out my lighter, summer-friendly outfits. Over the years, I’ve collected quite a few pieces from fast fashion brands—but now I’m being more intentional about my closet by building a capsule wardrobe and reducing waste.
As part of this shift, I decided to donate gently used clothes I no longer wear to the Itaewon Global Village Center. They run a year-round donation drive to support foreigners and local residents through their Community Closet.
They accept a variety of new or gently used items, such as:
• Clothes, shoes, bags, and toys
• Books and non-perishable food
• Unused toiletries and household items
Please avoid donating used bedding, socks, underwear, or any items that are dirty, broken, or expired.
📍Drop-off location:

7개월 전This is such a good idea. Unlike the UK where there are lots of charity shops to donate clothes, I haven't come across anything like this in Korea yet. Great way to recycle and help the local community!

7개월 전I've seen people donating by using the green boxes (의류수거함) on the street before but didn't know there was something like this project. Great initiative!
