How to invest in US stocks in Korea

Is there any way to do it? I don't want to invest in Korean stocks, I heard it's still quite volatile as there are many small cap stocks. Are there any banks or brokerages that allow foreigners to invest in US stocks? If anyone knows, please help!

Unfortunately, there's no way to do that. I'm not sure why, but I tried to find out, but there are no brokerages that allow foreigners to invest in US stocks. I hope that will change soon. To be honest, it's such a hassle to go to banks all the time to file paperwork. The only way to invest in US stocks in Korea is through ETFs listed on the Korean stock market. I know this sucks...

What if you earn income in Korea? Are you still not allowed to invest as a foreigner?
